This programme intends to equip Learners with a wide range of software, technical, and technological ICT skills required in the industry at the Certificate level. On Completion of this course, the student is expected to develop and apply ICT solutions to solve practical business issues.
This course empowers Learners to use skills gained through the use of technology in managing and supporting business-related computer systems. This course also bridges the existing knowledge gap in organizational data storage, business continuity, disaster recovery, security, business analytics and optimization, and enterprise architecture.
Upon completion of the course, learners should acquire the following electrical skills:-
- Plan and implement computer applications in the ICT industry.
- Use Information Communication Technology effectively in the work environment to analyze, identify and define organization requirements and opportunities.
- Design, install and manage computer networked systems.
- Analyze the impact of technology on individuals, organizations, and society, including ethical, legal, and policy issues.
By doing all these, trainees should be able to sit for the National exam under Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).
EXAMINING BODY: KNEC
DURATION: Two Modules each 6 months.
REQUIREMENTS:
KCSE aggregate Grade of D (Plain) and above or
It’s equivalent as acceptable Qualification by KNEC
Pass in Relevant Artisan level Qualification
